COMMITMENT TO COMMUNITY
As the Eastside explodes with new development, we need to focus on our core asset - our vibrant community. We have a wealth of resources and talent, ready to get to work improving neighborhoods. To support them, I will fight to ensure that you always have a seat at the table, and will collaborate with you openly and transparently.
BUILDING BETTER > BUILDING MORE
Atlanta has made strides to improve our infrastructure, but there’s still more work to do. Atlanta’s taxpayers are currently footing the bill for fixes that are yet to be completed, due to poor planning. Instead, let’s plan forward by working now to better transit, better water and better schools. Let's make sure our first responders are paid more so they can stay in our communities. As your next councilmember, I'll be here to push for better.
ECONOMIC EQUALITY FOR ALL HUMANS
In Atlanta, we have economic inequality that stifles innovation as many feel insecure in their stake in the city we call home. It's not too late for us to pursue a better minimum wage, equal pay for equal work, while tackling housing affordability. I will collaborate with residents and public and private stakeholders to create opportunities to maintain our diversity. A more equal Atlanta creates a more prosperous Atlanta.
